The Company: Folk
The Problem: In 2023, my current agency, Folk, underwent a huge re-brand and refocussed on championing diverse and inclusive comms. We worked with an external brand designer to reimagine our identity, however it soon became apparent that a lack of direction and overwhelming amount of assets was leading to a confused and disjointed brand presence.
The Solution: I undertook an internal project to completely recreate our brand guidelines. I reduced our colour palette, focussing specifically on colour contrast and accessibility. I also scaled back our asset and pattern library, heroing the octagon shape used within our wordmark as the primary communication tool. To ensure ease of implementation across the board I produced condensed guidelines, templates, and deck designs that were rolled out agency-wide.
