The Company: Folk

The Problem: Public Health Wales is an NHS Trust that aims to protect and improve health and wellbeing across Wales. A recent study found that more than 60% of adults in Wales are obese; in response to this statistic, Public Health Wales launched their weight management tool ‘Healthy Weight Healthy You’ and required a bank of 100 authentic lifestyle shots to be used in promotional material.

The Solution: We worked with real life community fitness groups as well as talent from casting agencies to capture realistic and relatable health and fitness imagery. Scenarios included shopping for groceries, cooking healthy food, and light exercise classes - all activities that are achievable and attainable for adults across Wales. The shoot was executed with a Sony a7iv with a Sigma 70-200 lens, and images were edited using Adobe Lightroom.
